We have seen movies, music and even games offered via a monthly streaming and/or download service in the past, but what about regular, old fashioned apps? MacPaw, who has made a number of apps for Apple’s Mac PCs and MacBook notebooks in the past, is currently testing Setapp, which will give users access to nearly 50 premium apps for the low price of just $9.99 a month.
Setapp offers access to the full and complete versions of Mac apps such as CleanMyMac, RapidWeaver, Ulysses and many more. Once you subscribe to the service, you will download the Setapp app to access and download all of its Mac apps in its current library. More apps are supposed to be added to the service on a regular basis. At the moment, the collected worth of all the apps that are a part of Setapp is close to $1,300.
Currently, the service is in closed beta testing, but you can go to its official website right now and sign up for consideration for a future beta invite. Even if you only use some of the apps included with the service, the $9.99 a month fee simply can’t be beat, and each app will also be updated to their latest versions as well. If you are a Mac user, will you consider checking out Setapp in the future?
